Colts free agent OT Le’Raven Clark to sign with Eagles

The former third-round pick joins Nick Sirianni in Philly.

Indianapolis Colts free agent offensive tackle Le’Raven Clark is signing a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

A third-round pick with the Colts in 2016, Clark spent most of his time as a swing tackle and depth piece along the offensive line. He appeared in 47 career games but made just 15 starts.

Clark never turned into a starter on the offensive line mostly due to inconsistent technique. He would fill in on occasion at left tackle if Anthony Castonzo ever missed time.

Clark suffered a torn Achilles during the Week 13 game against the Houston Texans. An update on when he would be ready to return hasn’t been reported yet.

The Colts made several additions to the offensive line this offseason. They signed Eric Fisher, Sam Tevi and Julién Davenport in free agency and used a seventh-round pick on Will Fries out of Penn State.

The Eagles hired Nick Sirianni to be their head coach so Clark will be entering an offense that he’s very familiar with.
