After announcing the signing of its undrafted free-agent class Friday, the Cincinnati Bengals then added two players to the roster after tryouts.

These players were officially signed:

  • QB Eric Dungey
  • TE Cheyenne O’Grady

We already knew about Dungey, one of the quarterbacks invited to participate in the rookie minicamp. He’s an undrafted free agent from 2019 who has floated around practice squads.

O’Grady is a rookie who didn’t get drafted in 2020 after five years at Arkansas, catching 10 touchdowns.

For now, both signings are merely for depth purposes, though simply getting the foot in the door is a big deal for both players. They’re now mired in competitions for the foreseeable future at their respective positions.
