As they finally raised the 2020 NBA Championship banner, the Los Angeles capped off the special night with a hard-fought victory over the Houston Rockets, 124-122.
The Lakers have now won three straight games as the end of the regular season rapidly approaches and play-in and playoff scenarios are quickly coming together.
Following hitting the go-ahead bucket to clinch the game for the Lakers on Tuesday night against the New York Knicks, Talen Horton-Tucker continued his impressive play against the Rockets, scoring 23 points and dishing out 10 assists on 9-of-16 shooting from the floor.
In the absence of James and Dennis Schroder, THT has truly become the primary ball-handler alongside Alex Caruso in the Lakers lineup and has continued to grow as a three-level scorer and playmaker.
