Jamison Hensley of ESPN shed some light on what the financial numbers are on Bateman’s contract, detailing that the deal will be a four-year, $12.6 million contract with a $6.5 million signing bonus.

Bateman is now officially a member of the Ravens’ organization, and he’ll look to build chemistry with quarterback Lamar Jackson early and often. It seems likely that the two will be playing together for a long time, assuming Baltimore gets a long-term deal done with Jackson. The former Minnesota pass catcher could be relied on in a big way in 2021, as he was selected by the team in the first round for a reason.
