Penn State Class of 2022 QB to play in All-American Bowl

Drew Allar, a Penn State commit, has accepted an invite to play in the 2022 Adidas All-American Bowl.

The football world will get a chance to see a future Penn State quarterback in action in the 2022 Adidas All-American Bowl. Drew Allar announced he has accepted his invitation to participate in the All-American Bowl.

Allar committed to Penn State on March 8. The commitment of Allar was notable not just because of his recruiting profile and rating, but because he was the first significant addition to the recruiting class after the hiring of offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich. Allar is a pro-style quarterback that could fit nicely into Yurcich’s offensive scheme.

The All-American Bowl is the elite high school all-star game full of recruits heading to power conference programs to play college football. The game is also a showcase opportunity for some recruits to announce their final college decisions.

The 2022 All-American Bowl is scheduled to be played on January 8, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas. The game, sponsored by Adidas, will air on NBC.

Allar is also scheduled to make an official visit to Penn State next month, on June 25.
