The Los Angeles Lakers got a much-needed victory on Sunday night as they knocked off the 2-seed Phoenix Suns, 123-110.
Despite continuing to be undermanned without LeBron James, Dennis Schroder, and Kyle Kuzma, the Lakers led wire-to-wire to get the job done, led by Anthony Davis.
Davis scored a season-high 42 points along with 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks as he absolutely dominated the entire game on both sides of the floor. AD was ultra aggressive attacking the basket, making 15-of-17 free throws, and looked to be the fully healthy version of himself again — the version that the Lakers need to be able to contend for a back-to-back championship.

With an aggressive Davis alongside a healthy LeBron and a locked in group of role players, the Lakers are a threat to repeat, no matter what seed they are in the playoffs.
