Jaycee Horn has made the decision what number he will wear as a member of the Carolina Panthers.
The first-round pick out of South Carolina, a defensive back and son of former NFL wideout Joe Horn, is going to honor the memory of a late legend from another sport.
Horn, taken eighth overall, posted on his Instagram account that he will wear No. 8, in memory of Kobe Bryant, the Lakers’ star who died with his daughter Gianna and seven others in a January 2020 helicopter crash in Southern California.
Horn said simply:
