The Philadelphia 76ers are off to a great start on the road on Monday against the Chicago Bulls, but they did get some grim news heading into the halftime locker room leading it 60-43.
After looking like he hurt himself on defense and he began limping around on the floor, Furkan Korkmaz went back to the locker room in the second quarter and it was then determined that he would not return due to a right ankle sprain. It is unfortunate due to the success Philadelphia is having on Monday and the number of injuries Korkmaz continues to deal with this season.

Philadelphia will have seven games left when the final buzzer sounds in Chicago and they will have to hope that the injury is not too serious. He is one of the team’s main scoring options off their bench unit and they will need him to be healthy leading into the playoffs.
