Michael Vick was disappointed in himself after running a 4.72 40-yard dash at 40 years old

Father Time is undefeated.

Former NFL quarterback Michael Vick entered the league in 2001 as arguably the most physically gifted quarterback ever. He had elite arm strength and was the fastest player on the field in basically every game.

And looking back 20 years to the 2001 NFL Combine, Vick ran a 4.33 40-yard dash and hit nearly 19 mph during that sprint. He was FAST. Well, at 40 years old, he’s still is pretty fast.

He just didn’t think so.

As part of Rich Eisen’s Run Rich Run fundraising special for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Vick was among a star-studded group of former NFL players to run the 40. Again, he’s 40 years old and did this …

Vick was clocked at 4.72 seconds, which isn’t bad at all. Sure, it’s no longer elite NFL speed, but it’s certainly a respectable time for a 40-year-old. Vick at 40 has essentially Mac Jones’ speed at 22.

The best part of the video was how disappointed Vick was with his time while all the other former NFL players couldn’t break 5 seconds.

Father Time is undefeated.
