We now have the details of the draft-day trade between the Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers.
The Browns traded up from No. 59 overall in the second round of the 2021 NFL draft with the Carolina Panthers. Carolina sent the Browns the No. 52 overall pick in exchange for No. 59 and the first of Cleveland’s two third-round picks, No. 89 overall. Carolina also sent the Browns its fourth-round pick, No. 113 overall. No future year picks or compensation was involved in the deal.
It’s a small cost for Cleveland to slide up and land Notre Dame linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, a player often projected to the team in the first round.
