The Indianapolis Colts are back for Day 2 of the 2021 NFL draft after going through what was close to a dream scenario in the first round on Thursday night.
Uncharacteristically, the Colts only have one pick in the second and third rounds. The Colts’ third-round pick was a part of the deal that brought quarterback Carson Wentz to Indy. Many thought general manager Chris Ballard would move back in the first round but with edge rusher Kwity Paye on the board, the Colts stuck with their pick.
Here’s an updated look at the remaining picks for the Colts in the draft entering Day 2:
- Round 1 | No. 21 overall | EDGE Kwity Paye, Michigan
- Round 2 | No. 54 overall
- Round 4 | No. 127 overall
- Round 5 | No. 165 overall
- Round 6 | No. 206 overall
- Round 7 | No. 248 overall
The Colts could be looking to move back from No. 54 depending on how the board looks. It’s unlikely they can add a third-round pick unless they move way back but there is a chance they can add a fourth-round pick by moving back just a few spots.
