After 37 points against the Kings, Steve Kerr is beginning to run out of ways to describe Steph Curry’s latest red-hot stretch of basketball

After scoring 37 points on Sunday against the Kings, Steve Kerr is beginning to run out ways to describe Steph Curry’s recent scoring run.

Despite his historic run of 30 or more points in 11 consecutive contests coming to an end, Steph Curry has quickly bounced back to lead the Golden State Warriors to back-to-back victories.

On Sunday against the Sacramento Kings, Curry scored a game-high 37 points on 11-of-21 shooting from the floor and 7-of-14 from long distance, including a pair of ridiculous long-distance triples from just inside the halfcourt line.

The seven-time All-Star guard is now riding a new two-game run with 32 or more points over his last two games.

Following another impressive scoring effort from Curry, Steve Kerr is beginning to run out of ways to describe the Golden State point guard.

I don’t know. It seems like I’ve run out of ways to describe Steph’s play. I’m just going to stop trying and I will ask you to go back three or four games ago and look at my comments then, and use those tonight again.

After scoring 49 points to lead the Warriors past the Philadelphia 76ers on April 19, Kerr called Curry’s performance “mind-boggling stuff.”

Curry has now scored 32 or more points in 13 of his last 14 games with 53, 49, 47, 42 and 41 point efforts along the way. During his red-hot 14 game run, Curry is averaging 37.6 points on 52.3% shooting from the floor and 46.9% shooting from beyond the arc.

During Golden State’s victory over Sacramento on Sunday, Curry pushed past James Harden for the most 3-pointers in a single calendar month with 83.

Riding a two-game win streak, Curry will lead the Warriors against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks at Chase Center on Wednesday.
