Wyndham Clark hit an unofficial Zurich Classic trifecta on Saturday with one swing. On the 16th hole of Saturday’s rounds in the Zurich Classic, Clark was left with an unfortunate scenario: hit a shot off the edge of a lake with alligators around.
The alligator sightings aren’t new for the Zurich Classic, as this weekend they got up to some hijinks on the course. Clark’s predicament though was a difficult one, as he lined up to make his shot on No. 16 ankle-deep in the lake.
Thankfully, no gators got close to Clark as he made his shot, and even more impressively, it was a beauty!

While the ball landed on the green and nearly hopped into the hole off that beautiful shot, it instead settled just on the fringe. Quite a play for being ankle-deep in lake water.
And that wasn’t all! Clark splattered himself with mud on the swing, the unfortunate part of playing a ball right on the lake front.

A dirty shirt well worth the stellar shot and execution by Clark.
