Former Wisconsin safety Reggie Pearson was one of the hardest Badger hitters on Big Ten West champion 2019 squad, but an undisclosed medical issue ended his UW career.
After initially choosing South Dakota as his transfer destination, the Michigan native was medically cleared to play at a Big 12 destination. Pearson will be headed to Texas Tech, and he announced his decision via Twitter last night:
First I want to thank The University of South Dakota for everything but I will be decommitting from South Dakota. I am extremely blessed to be offered and now recommitting to The Texas Tech University.👆🏽#Gunsup Go Red Raiders💯✝️ pic.twitter.com/HXPMcNNgjf

Pearson will head to Lubbock to try and help a team that finished 4-6 last season.
