Not only did the Celtics arguably have their best defensive performance of the season in last night’s 99-86 victory over the Phoenix Suns, but Kemba Walker tied his season-high with 32 points.
Walker got into a groove right from the tip, scoring 11 first quarter points. With Jaylen Brown out for the game and Jayson Tatum struggling from the field once again, Cardiac Kemba took the matters into his own hands as he’s done most of his career.
With Brown and Tatum surging as All-Stars and the leaders of this team, if Kemba can have dominant stretches like this come playoff time, the Celtics can make some serious noise.
