Oklahoma City Thunder wing Lu Dort will be out for the second game in a row, head coach Mark Daigneault said prior to the matchup with the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
Power forward/center Isaiah Roby is questionable. He missed the game on Monday due to a sprained toe.
“He’s going to test out his stuff on the court and hopefully be good to go, but there’s a chance he can’t,” Daigneault said.
If Roby is active, he would come off the bench.
Dort entered the day as questionable with a hip injury. His hip has been bugging him since at least Sunday, when he was questionable entering the game against the Toronto Raptors. He played, but missed the game the following night due to soreness. Daigneault said the soreness continued Wednesday.
“Didn’t have the same recovery that we would have liked, so he’s going to be out tonight,” Daigneault said.
The starting lineup will be Theo Maledon, Svi Mykhailiuk, Aleksej Pokusevski, Darius Bazley and Moses Brown.
The Pacers have also been hit extremely hard by injuries. Indiana is down three starters and six rotation players including Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner.
Oklahoma City will try to end its 11-game losing streak. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
