Tennessee has picked up a 2021 commitment.
Jerrod Gentry announced Tuesday his commitment to the Vols.
“I’m truly blessed to be in this position and I’m ready to get to work,” Gentry said on Twitter. “With that being said, I will be containing my academic and athletic career at the University of Tennessee.”

The 6-foot, 195-pound defensive back and wide receiver is from Briarcrest Christian School in Eads, Tennessee.
Gentry will play for first-year head coach Josh Heupel at Tennessee. Heupel was hired as the Vols’ head coach on Jan. 27.
Tennessee will kick off the 2021 season on Sept. 4 against Bowling Green at Neyland Stadium.
