Zion Williamson’s new Jordan Brand sneakers drop with a Shakespeare-themed ad

“To windmill or not to windmill, that’s the question.”

Normally, I’d say rewriting the famed soliloquy from William Shakespeare’s classic Hamlet is a cliche.

But you know what? In this case, I like it!

With Zion Williamson’s first signature sneaker dropping through the Jordan Brand with the Zion 1, the New Orleans Pelicans star was in an ad that started with, “To windmill or not to windmill, that’s the question.”

There’s a shot of him contemplating a basketball as if he was looking at a skull in the “Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio.” Maybe it’s trying to paint Williamson as a cerebral youth? The English major in me is overthinking it. It’s a fun spot:
