On Sunday, rookie guard Malachi Flynn continued a strong April run to help the Toronto Raptors to a 112-106 win at home over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Flynn produced 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists in 31 minutes of work to help the Raptors win their third straight game. He finished the contest by converting on 6-of-14 shots from the field, including 3-of-5 from 3-point range.

With the Raptors dealing with injury issues, the team turned to Flynn this month and the rookie has performed well in his expanded role. He is averaging 13.7 points, 5.9 assists and 4.8 rebounds on 41.8% shooting from beyond the arc in 10 games during the month of April.

The Raptors view the final stretch of the season as a great opportunity for Flynn to develop. They have allowed him to play a bit more and experience the competitiveness of chasing a playoff spot to close out the regular season and he has produced in that role.
