Injury Report: Kelly Oubre Jr. (wrist) listed as questionable vs. Boston Celtics on Saturday

After missing four consecutive games, Kelly Oubre Jr. is listed as questionable for Golden State’s contest against the Boston Celtics on Saturday night.

As the Golden State Warriors have blitzed to a season-high four-game win streak, a key starter has been on the sideline. After suffering a brutal fall against the Washington Wizards, Kelly Oubre Jr. has missed four consecutive games with a wrist injury.

Prior to Golden State’s primetime tilt with the Boston Celtics, Oubre Jr. could be trending towards a return to the starting lineup. After working out in Boston on Friday, Oubre Jr, is listed as questionable against the Celtics.

Averaging 15.3 points on 43.9% shooting from the floor with 6.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest, Oubre Jr. could add a boost back to Golden State’s starting lineup.

Without Oubre Jr., the Warriors have leaned on Kent Bazemore alongside Steph Curry in the starting backcourt. During Golden State’s four-game win streak, the veteran guard has averaged 10.8 points on 48.5% shooting from the floor with 4.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 28.1 minutes per game.

The second-year guard has tallied 14 or more points in each game of the win streak, averaging 14.0 points on 44.4% shooting from the field with 3.3 assists and 1.5 steals in 22.8 minutes.

Golden State will meet Boston on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. PT.
