Aaron Rodgers had another hilarious interaction with a ‘Jeopardy!’ contestant

More fantastic hosting.

Aaron Rodgers’ two-week stint as Jeopardy! guest host is coming to an end, but it’s been quite a run for the Green Bay Packers QB.

He’s handled curveballs thrown at him, teased contestants who didn’t answer a Packers clue, and followed some of his own notes stuck to his podium. Our Andy Nesbitt certainly isn’t the only one calling for Rodgers to become the full-time host in the near future.

One other thing he’s done: had fun with the getting-to-know-the-contestants portion of the show — remember the “football cousins” moment? On Thursday, contestant Lindsay’s fun fact is that lots of people mistake her name and call her Ashley.

So Rodgers responded, “Alright, Ashley.”

LOL.

Rodgers apparently kept up the joke off-camera, per The Ringer:

Later, Rodgers continued to call her Ashley in all their subsequent off-camera interactions. Wilcox, who is a teacher, says, “I’m very excited to impress all these middle schoolers that Aaron Rodgers and I basically have an inside joke.”
