Alex Rodriguez, the former MLB star who currently makes Sunday Night Baseball games every week on ESPN very hard to watch, will soon be a part-owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves, as he and Marc Lore are buying the franchise for a cool $1.5 billion bucks.
ARod, of course, made hundreds of millions of dollars during his MLB career with the Mariners, Rangers, and Yankees. He’s also done pretty well in the business world since retiring from baseball. He’s also had a long relationship with Jennifer Lopez that still seems to be going on.
That is apparently all news to Timberwolves rookie Anthony Edwards, though. The No. 1 pick in last year’s draft was asked Tuesday night about ARod and said this:
“I don’t know who that is. I know he’s going to be the owner. But I don’t know anything about baseball.”
Anthony Edwards on his feelings about Alex Rodriguez being the Timberwolves new owner:
"I don't know who that is. I know he's going to be the owner. But I don't know anything about baseball."

That’s just a phenomenal quote from Edwards. I bet ARod will soon have a very cheesy response to it.
And yup, he did:
Ugh.
