If you’re a Dallas Wings fan, Thursday’s 2021 WNBA draft that tips off at 7 p.m. ET is huge moment for the franchise.
The Wings made a megadeal in which they sent Katie Lou Samuelson and a 2022 second-rounder to the New York Liberty for the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft, giving them the top two selections. But that’s not all — they have a first-rounder (fifth overall) from the Washington Mystics in the Tina Charles deal and the seventh pick thanks to the Skylar Diggins-Smith sign-and-trade with Phoenix.
Who could they take with those picks? There’s Texas forward Charli Collier, Finland center Awak Kuier, guard Arella Guirantes out of Rutgers, point guard Aari McDonald from Arizona and more.
