The Detroit Pistons (16-36) continue their Western Conference road trip Saturday night, taking on the Portland Trail Blazers (30-21). Tip-off is scheduled for 10:10 p.m. ET in Moda Center. Below, we analyze the Pistons-Trail Blazers odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.
The Pistons, who sit in last place in the East, have won two of the first three games of their road trip so far and have gone 4-3 in their last seven. Granted, their two road wins in the week were over sub-.500 teams. Detroit lost to Portland 124-101 at home March 31.
The Blazers hang on to the West’s six seed, which avoids a play-in game for the postseason. They have a one-game lead over the Dallas Mavericks. Portland has lost two in a row and three of four but opens a three-game homestand against lesser Eastern Conference opponents – starting with the Pistons.

Pistons at Trail Blazers: Odds, lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Trail Blazers 120, Pistons 111
Money line (ML)
The Pistons will be without their leading scorer in Grant and have not won consecutive road games all season. Portland is 14-7 against teams in the East. This game isn’t likely going to be an upset, so a play at -750 probably isn’t worth your time. Look to the spread and the total.

Against the spread (ATS)
Despite being the worst team in the East, the Pistons have been very solid against the spread this season. They are 28-23-1 ATS this season and 15-12-1 ATS on the road. They have only seven straight-up road victories this season. The Blazers are only 10-15 ATS at home this season. They have covered the spread once in their last four games. Take the PISTONS +11.5 (-110).
Over/Under (O/U)
Portland’s games go over the total 54.9% of the time this season. Five of the last eight have gone Over. Seven of the last 10 games for the Pistons have gone Over. Take OVER 226.5 POINTS (-110).
