To start a home back-to-back, the Golden State Warriors will be missing a piece in the second unit on Friday night. Prior to the start of the Warriors’ tilt with the Washington Wizards, Juan Toscano-Anderson was ruled out for the contest with left elbow soreness.

Averaging 4.6 points per game on 55.7% shooting from the floor with 3.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 17.4 minutes per game, Toscano-Anderson has played an important role off the bench for the Warriors. The Oakland native has provided solid defense behind Draymond Green in Golden State’s frontcourt.
With Eric Paschall already sidelined with a hip injury, the Warriors will have a thin frontline with Toscano-Anderson against the Wizards. Kelly Oubre Jr., James Wiseman and Kevon Looney could play more significant roles down low on Friday.
The Warriors will meet the Wizards at 7 p.m. PT on Friday night at Chase Center.
