Season-high turnovers, dominant Embiid leads to Celtics loss to Sixers

A season-high 22 turnovers and a dominant 35-point performance from Sixers’ Joel Embiid led to a 106-96 loss for the Celtics.

Following a 30-point route of the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday, the Boston Celtics came into tonight’s game looking to keep the momentum going to win their third-straight game and climb their way up the Eastern Conference playoff latter. And yet, the momentum was cut short as Boston came face-to-face with their kryptonite once again.

In his second game back after missing 10 games due to a knee injury, Philadelphia 76ers All-Star and MVP candidate, Joel Embiid, dominated the Celtics as he seems to do every time these two teams meet as Philadelphia’s victory tonight swept the season series against the Celtics 3-0.
