Boston Celtics have two top-15 players in ESPN’s ‘top-25 under 25 ranking’

You probably already have guessed who they are — but where did they rank?

The future is bright for the Boston Celtics in ESPN’s estimation, with two of the NBA’s top 25 talents under age 25 already on their roster.

Ranked by ESPN analysts Bobby Marks, Kevin Pelton and Mike Schmitz, the trio did their best to assess all the young talent in the league right now, with the composite list they created reflecting their own personal assessments (also available at the bottom of the article for the curious). We do have some minor quibbles — and wonder whether rising big man Robert Williams ought to have a spot on this list as well.

But overall, it’s a solid assessment of where the Celtics’ two star wings sit in relation to the rest of the young talent in the NBA.
