The Pistons have been a difficult team to figure lately. They crushed Toronto 118-104 March 29, then were trucked by Portland 124-101 at home March 31. They rebounded with a 120-91 win over Washington Thursday, only to be crushed 125-81 Saturday by New York. Then Monday night they kicked off the road trip with a 132-108 win at Oklahoma City.
The Nuggets roll into this one on a five-game win streak, and they have covered four of those outings. They failed to cover a crazy 17.5-point number against Orlando last time out Sunday, although they won comfortably by a 119-109 score.

The PISTONS +13.5 (-110) have been a very erratic team lately, looking like an NBA-caliber team one night and a high-lottery team the next. The weird thing is that there hasn’t been a lot of in between. The Nuggets -13.5 (-110) are just 1-5 ATS in six games as a double-digit favorite this season, so the lean is to the erratic road team.
Over/Under (O/U)
OVER 219.5 (-115) is the way to go, hitting in four of the past five overall for the Pistons. The Over is also 9-2-1 in the past 12 for Detroit against teams with a winning overall record, too.
For the Nuggets, the Over is 3-0-1 in the past four against teams with a losing overall mark and 5-2 in the past seven in the Mile High City.
