James Harden left Brooklyn’s come-from-behind win over the Rockets on Thursday with what the Nets deemed “hamstring tightness.”
Coach Steve Nash said after the game that Brooklyn felt confident that the injury is “not a long-term thing,” but with the Nets returning to the floor Thursday for the second night of a back-to-back, Brooklyn isn’t taking any chances with their MVP candidate.
The team announced Thursday afternoon that Harden is out for the Hornets game, along with Blake Griffin.
New arrival LaMarcus Aldridge and guard Landry Shamet were not listed on the Nets’ injury report, and are expected to be available vs. Charlotte.
James Harden and Blake Griffin have been ruled OUT for tonight’s game against the Hornets the team says.
