Wednesday morning, eight former Tigers participated in LSU’s pro day in the indoor operations facility.
These players were Ja’Marr Chase (WR), Terrace Marshall (WR), JaCoby Stevens (S/LB), Tyler Shelvin (DT), Kary Vincent (CB), Racey McMath (WR), Tory Carter (FB), and Zach Von Rosenberg (P).
Linebacker Jabril Cox was meant to participate but had to opt out due to a minor injury. Cox was still in attendance to support his former teammates.
With no NFL combine in 2021, this was the last opportunity for these players to make good impressions with the hopes of improving their draft stock.

According to the program, there was a representative from each NFL team present at the event.
Marshall, Vincent, McMath and Chase all ran a blistering sub 4.40 40-yard dash. With Vincent at 4.33, Marshall and McMath at 4.34 and Chase at 4.38 there’s not denying their draft stocks rise with these posted times.
Another stand-out performance was JaCoby Stevens showing out with a 42-inch vertical, and Chase trailing closely behind him with a 41-inch vert.
Stevens needed a stellar day today to prove to NFL personnel that he has top-tier draft grade potential. Before today, many people felt Stevens was too heavy for the safety position, weighing in at 230 pounds his last two seasons at LSU.

However, the potential move of Stevens to a linebacker position “talk” stopped, when Stevens weighed in at 212 pounds Wednesday morning. Accompanied with a 6-feet-1 height measurement, a 76.5” wing-span and a 32.5” arm length, Stevens is primed for the NFL draft.
Now, all there is left to do is patiently wait. The NFL Draft is set for Thursday, April 29 and will run through Saturday, May 1.
