While you might be excused for being a bit unenthused about veteran shooting guard Evan Fournier’s debut with the Boston Celtics, a career full of excellent play suggests that was an exceptional event and not at all what we should expect from the Frenchman going forward.
But there is still the question of what role Fournier will have with the team once he is up to speed and integrated into the rotation. Does it make more sense for him to start — or come off the bench? And how exactly will the Celtics use Fournier on both sides of the ball?
Is he more of a Gordon Hayward replacement, or someone to spell All-Star forward Jaylen Brown when he goes to the bench?

These questions and more are tackled by Kwani A. Lunis and A. Sherrod Blakely on the latest episode of their CLNS podcast “The A-List,” featuring special guest Josh Robbins of The Athletic.
