The San Antonio Spurs (23-20) host the Sacramento Kings (21-25) Monday at AT&T Center for an 8:30 p.m. ET game. Below, we analyze the Kings-Spurs odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.
Sacramento is starting to play itself into playoff contention by winning four straight games and six of its past seven contests while going 5-2 against the spread.
The Kings are a game back of the Golden State Warriors for the 10-seed in the Western Conference, which would put Sacramento in the postseason play-in tournament.
San Antonio just snapped a four-game losing skid by trampling the Chicago Bulls 120-104 at home Saturday. The Spurs are playing .500 ball over the past couple of weeks at 4-4 straight up, but they covered the spread in five of their last eight contests.
This is the first meeting of the season between these two teams. San Antonio broke a six-game ATS losing skid to Sacramento in the Orlando bubble last season and is just 3-4 straight up in the last seven meetings.

Prediction
Kings 115, Spurs 109
Money line (ML)
PASS because I only LEAN Sacramento to cover here and there isn’t enough value in Kings (+115) for me to take it.

Against the spread (ATS)
Slight LEAN toward KINGS +2.5 (-110) for a quarter-unit because this is a weird number with puzzling line movement.
According to Pregame.com, more money has been wagered on San Antonio to cover but the line has been brought down from Spurs laying 4 points on the opener, suggesting the House wants us to bet San Antonio.
I prefer the total more than the side in this game so BET KINGS +2.5 (-110) lightly if at all.
Over/Under (O/U)
Sacramento’s defense has been all-time bad but San Antonio is 20th in offensive rating and 24th in effective field-goal percentage. Also, both teams do a good job defending what the other team does frequently.
According to CleaningTheGlass.com, both teams are in the top-10 of mid-range field-goal volume but are also neck-and-neck in defensive mid-range shooting percentage with Sacramento ranked 13th and San Antonio 14th.
Furthermore, the Kings have gone Under the total in three of their last four games and in eight of their last 10 while the Spurs are 3-8 O/U with a minus-9.7-point total margin as a home favorite this season.
BET UNDER 229.5 (-110) for 1.25 units.
