Sixers at Lakers: Lineups, injury reports and broadcast info for Thursday

The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to snap a three-game losing streak on Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers.

In an interesting twist of fate by the NBA schedulers, two of the teams connected to Toronto guard Kyle Lowry in the NBA trade rumor mill will be facing each other just hours after the NBA trade deadline expires. The banged-up Lakers, who are without LeBron James and Anthony Davis, welcome the Eastern Conference-leading Philadelphia 76ers to the Staples Center for the first post-deadline game for both teams.

The 76ers have been winning games despite an injury to their MVP candidate Joel Embiid. Philadelphia holds a 1 and a 1/2 game lead over the No. 1 seed in the East and their other star-caliber players, Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris, have stepped up in a major way to keep the Sixers winning.

So although the Sixers don’t have their biggest star, they still have two game-altering forces in Simmons and Harris that will give the Lakers a lot of trouble. If the Lakers do get involved in the Lowry sweepstakes and do make a trade, they’ll be even more short-handed in their attempt to break their current losing streak.

Here’s when you should tune in to see the game:

  • Date: March 25
