The Indianapolis Colts signed their first outside free agent of the offseason in the form of defensive end Isaac Rochell, who will be joining the team on a one-year deal.
The details of that contract have been released as Rochell will be earning a one-year, $2.5 million deal. He’s getting $1.25 million guaranteed with a $250,000 signing bonus. His salary is for $1.74 million with $1 million of that guaranteed. It also includes per-game active bonuses of $510,000 along with some sacks incentives.
Officially, Rochell will have a $1.25 million cap hit for the Colts.

This is a depth signing for the Colts even though it was their first big one of the offseason. Rochell will be working behind Kemoko Turay and Ben Banogu while Tyquan Lewis could see time on the edge as well. If the Colts draft an edge prospect, Rochell will be battling for one of the final spots in the room.
The Colts also re-signed cornerback Xavier Rhodes to a one-year deal on Saturday evening.
