PASS on the money line as the Celtics (-300) are far too inconsistent to wager on at these odds.
With a record of 20-20, they just can’t be trusted on a night-to-night basis against any team. Instead, look to the spread as it presents more value for Boston.

Against the spread (ATS)
CELTICS -7 (-110) is the lean here despite Boston going 1-4 against the spread over its last five games. The Celtics have been incredibly inconsistent of late, losing three of their last four games and falling to the Cleveland Cavilers Wednesday night.
The Kings can’t be trusted much either as they have lost 13 of their last 17 games and have covered the spread in just four of those contests. Without Bagley in the lineup, this one could get ugly for Sacramento.
Take Boston to bounce back and win by at least 8 Friday night.
Over/Under (O/U)
UNDER 234.5 is the pick as the Celtics have struggled on offense this season. They are averaging just 112.1 points per game to rank 19th in the NBA; however, Sacramento’s defense (29th in the NBA) should allow Boston to score around 120 points.
Still, the Under is a safe play as the Kings just aren’t good enough on offense to score much more than 110 points.
