Bears fans are justifiably angry following CB Kyle Fuller’s release

The Bears are releasing CB Kyle Fuller to clear up salary cap space. The reaction, as you can imagine, wasn’t good.

The Chicago Bears continue to trend backwards in free agency with reports that veteran cornerback Kyle Fuller is being released to free up salary cap space.

Fuller was due to have a cap hit of $20 million in 2021, which led to his release. While the Bears save $11 million in cap space, they’re down another leader on defense and left without a starting cornerback opposite second-year corner Jaylon Johnson.

The reaction, as you can imagine, wasn’t good. Twitter was justifiably upset about how things got this far after general manager Ryan Pace dug himself into a salary cap hole.

Fuller becomes a top free-agent target with his release, and the Bears give the rest of the league something else to laugh about.

As for Bears fans, they’re fed up with it all.
