Hornets at Lakers: Lineups, injury reports and broadcast info for Thursday

The Los Angeles Lakers welcome one of the best stories of the NBA season to the Staples Center in LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets.

The Los Angeles Lakers return to Staples Center on Thursday night as they look for their fourth straight victory. The Lakers are 3-0 since returning from the All-Star break and have been dominant on the defensive end, while also seemingly finding their touch from the 3-point line. But the team facing them on Thursday night has a knack for ruining the best-laid plans of teams across the league.

LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets visit the Lakers on Thursday night for the first NBA meeting between the youngest Ball brother and LeBron James. Earlier this season, Ball surpassed James and others as the youngest player to record a triple-double in NBA history.

Thursday is also a bit of a homecoming for the Chino Hills-raised Ball, who is playing against the team that drafted older brother Lonzo No. 2 overall in the 2017 draft. The Hornets are, however, playing on the second night of a back-to-back after getting demolished by the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night.

Here’s when you should tune in to see the game:

  • Date: March 18
  • Time: 10:30 p.m. ET
  • TV Channel: NBA TV
  • Live Stream: fuboTV (watch for free)
