Kyle Van Noy celebrated his new contract with the New England Patriots with a video on Twitter on Thursday.
The linebacker is rejoining the Patriots after one season with the Miami Dolphins in 2020. Van Noy was with New England from 2016 to 2019, and emerged in a much more significant way than his first two and half seasons with the Detroit Lions. The Patriots used Van Noy all over the formation, both at inside and outside linebacker. He was excellent in both spots, which is largely why Miami wanted him. And yet the team cut him as a cap casualty after just one season.
It seems, however, that Van Noy is pleased to return to New England.

It should be a really solid move for both parties.
