According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Pittsburgh Steelers are planning to re-sign cornerback Cameron Sutton to a two-year, $9 million contract.

Retaining Sutton was a must for the Steelers with Mike Hilton set to leave in free agency. Sutton provides excellent depth at both slot cornerback as well as on the boundary and could see a significant bump in reps this season.

According to Pro Football Focus, Sutton is the No. 23-ranked cornerback in the NFL over the course of the last two seasons with a 73.5 grade.
