Justin Thomas finished off an incredible weekend at TPC Sawgrass by coming from behind to win the first Players Championship of his career.
Thomas played in the second-to-last group during Sunday’s final round and when he walked off the 18th green it was almost certain that he would finish ahead of Lee Westwood (who led after the third round) and Bryson DeChambeau, who were playing in the final group.
The win became official after Westwood’s approach shot didn’t find the hole. He did however sink his birdie putt to finish alone in second place.
Westwood’s caddie is his fiancée, Helen Story, and moments after the round she found Thomas to give him cool keepsake from his win:

That’s pretty classy right there.
Storey and Westwood are pretty awesome people and while they didn’t win on Sunday, they did earn just over $1.6 million bucks, which ain’t bad.
