Tennessee Titans radio announcer Mike Keith will be inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2021.
Keith has been “The Voice of the Titans” for over two decades and is loved by fans and the organization because of his unique style, mics skills, and for being a downright great human being.
Now, his contributions will forever be enshrined in the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame.
“Obviously, I wasn’t good enough to make it as a player, and I sure couldn’t coach. So, the fact that I am able to talk about sports and be involved in it in this way through the TSSAA and the University of Tennessee and obviously the Tennessee Titans. … It is just really special in a way that is hard to describe,” Keith said, per Jim Wyatt of Titans Online.
Keith was doing an interview with CBS analyst Charles Davis when Titans great Eddie George jumped on the call and revealed the surprise.

“It was a tremendous surprise, and to be told by Eddie George was just incredibly special, there’s no other way to put it. This really means a lot,” Keith said.
It has been a pretty good week for Keith, who was also recently promoted to Vice President of Broadcasting within the organization.
There are few people more deserving of this honor than Keith. Congratulations to a legend.
