Thomas Davis was an absolute legend for the Carolina Panthers for more than a decade.
He played in Charlotte for 13 years and became one of the franchise’s cornerstones before parting ways with the organization in 2018 and going to play for the Chargers and the Washington Football Team over the next two seasons.
On Thursday, Davis came back to the Panthers for a day. Both he and former tight end Greg Olsen signed one-day contracts to finish out their careers in Carolina and retire as Panthers.
Davis came back as fly as ever in a suit that looked like his Panthers’ uniform with his number 58 on it.

During the ceremony, they reflected on his biggest career moments and even had some old faces show up to say some positive things about Davis and how he carried himself through his career. It was awesome to watch.
He finally got a chance to speak and reflect on his career with the Panthers after signing his contract. The moment was awesome and he immediately got emotional about it.

What a moment for Davis. It’s very well-deserved.
