The unpopular Trai Turner for Russell Okung trade last year didn’t work out well for anybody. Due to injuries, Okung missed nine games for the Panthers and Turner missed seven with LA. Now, both teams may be starting over at those positions next season.
According to a report by Adam Shefter at ESPN, the Chargers are “actively shopping” Turner, who is due $11.5 million this year.
Chargers are actively shopping former Pro-Bowl guard Trai Turner, per source. It looks like he will be traded or released in the near future. He’s due $11.5 million this season.

Carolina wound up starting John Miller at Turner’s former spot at right guard for most of the 2020 season. He did a decent job in 14 games. They can probably re-sign Miller on a one-year deal for cheap, so it doesn’t make much sense to bring Turner back in a trade.
That said, Turner is only 27 years old and he is a five-time Pro Bowler, so odds are the Chargers will eventually find a partner.
As for Okung, he will become a free agent on the 17th.
