Chicago Bears tight end Jimmy Graham was involved in a single-car accident in Miami on Thursday morning. The news was first reported by Andy Slater, who shared that Graham wasn’t injured and didn’t want to be checked out by paramedics.
According to Slater, Graham swerved to avoid a car that was blocking the road. Fox Sports 640 AM in Miami added that Graham’s car rolled over, but he felt like he didn’t require medical attention.
Bears TE Jimmy Graham was in a single vehicle rollover crash in Miami on Thursday morning, sources tell me.
He was not injured and did not even want to be checked out by paramedics.
Graham was not at fault, I’m told. He swerved to avoid a car that was blocking the road.

Graham took to social media to let everyone know he was fine, and he also shared a photo of the single-car accident.
“Just wanted to get ahead of this and tell everybody I’m fine,” he wrote Thursday. “Was in an accident this morning trying to avoid a disabled vehicle in the center lane. I walked away from it unscathed. Blessings.”

Graham signed a two-year deal with the Bears last offseason, and he proved to be a reliable target in the red zone. Graham had 50 catches for 456 yards and eight touchdowns in his first season. While he’s still under contract for one more season, he’s a prime candidate for being a cap casualty, with Chicago in need of salary cap space.
