Dame Time continues to be real.
If it wasn’t true before, for the past couple of years, it is these days: there is no one in the NBA — LeBron James, Kevin Durant, whoever — who is better with under a minute to go than Damian Lillard.
He continues to hit game-winners with ease, with his patented deep step-back three as unstoppable as ever with the game on the line.
That’s exactly what happened again on Wednesday night against the Golden State Warriors. With under 16 seconds to go and the Portland Trail Blazers down one, he hit this shot and barely blinked (also, a Mike Breen “BANG!”).
BANG!

But look at what he did on the other end! A game-winning charge take! On Draymond Green!

There were some people who thought it was a block, but replay showed he was outside the restricted area and his feet were set. But here’s Steph Curry:

But whatever Lillard has running through his veins, it’s jaw-dropping. He’s so calm, so cool and he continues to hit clutch daggers and make the right play in the times he’s needed the most. Wild.
