J.J. Watt, as we all know by now, finished his wild run through free agency by surprising a lot of people when he opted to join the Arizona Cardinals, which now feels like the right move.
Watt was introduced by his new team at a press conference on Tuesday and that’s where we learned about the incredible plan he came up with to make sure the decision wasn’t leaked by anyone before his official announcement.
We also learned of a pretty awesome text that he sent to Cardinals QB Kyler Murray after he made the decision to join the Cardinals. It simply said: “I’m here because I believe in you.”

Murray, the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft who was later named the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year, did some amazing things last season and is ready to become a star.
On Monday, Murray shared this tweet from 2015 when he was in high school and met Watt after being named the Gatorade High School Athlete of the Year:
