James Harden earns Eastern Conference Player of the Month award

James Harden wins Player of the Month for February.

The Beard was at the forefront of it all for the Brooklyn Nets in February. He helped lead them to an Eastern Conference-best 9-4 for the month. Harden is first player since Vince Carter in 2007 to win Eastern Conference Player of the Month. Harden is also the fourth Net to ever win such an award. The only other players to receive this honor was Jason Kidd, Kenyon Martin, and Carter.

In February, he averaged 25.6 PPG, 10.7 APG (an Eastern Conference best), 8.8 RPG, 1.2 steals per game, and 36.8 MPG. James Harden currently leads the league in minutes played per game at 38.3.

Since Harden arrived in Brooklyn, the Nets have gone 16-7, a league best over that period. Ladies and gentlemen, the Brooklyn Nets have arrived.
