The Knicks are the toast of the New York sports scene right now as they were 9-5 straight up and 10-4 against the spread in February. New York has won three straight games, four of five, and seven of its last nine games while going 7-2 ATS entering Tuesday.
San Antonio has lost two of its previous three games following a 10-day COVID-19-related layoff. The Spurs lost 124-113 in overtime as 4-point home underdogs Monday against the Brooklyn Nets.

Even though this is the “money line” section, there are applicable ATS trends since the spread and money line prices are equal.
New York’s hard-nosed defense is unique in today’s NBA and is a major reason why the Knicks are 7-2 ATS with a league-leading plus-7.3 spread differential in games with a rest advantage. Also, the Spurs are 1-3 ATS with a minus-13 spread margin in the second of a back-to-back.
San Antonio is hoping for the return of several key contributors who’ve been sidelined a few games because of health and safety protocols. Three of the possible Spurs returnees are in the frontcourt, which is a weak spot currently for the Knicks. They will be without two bigs Tuesday.
As always, do not make a wager on this game until the final injury report is released because if San Antonio is still without a couple of forwards, I like the KNICKS (-115) to extend their 3-game win streak.
As of now, I lean with the KNICKS (-115) for a half-unit.

Against the spread (ATS)
PASS on the spread since it’s nearly the same as the money line. No reason to fuss with the single point in this game.
Over/Under (O/U)
The UNDER 214.5 (-110) is the best play in Knicks-Spurs because both teams are top-12 defensive rated teams and have a combined 25-40 O/U record this season.
Additionally, the Spurs are 1-3 O/U with a minus-21 margin against the projected total in games with no rest and the Knicks are 3-6 O/U with a minus-6.8 total margin in games with a rest advantage.
