Advice and prediction
Vegas must have some incredible insider knowledge about this matchup, because I’m not sure why the Rockets should be favored in this spot. The Rockets have gone just 1-10 against the spread during their current losing streak, and the Cavs come to town riding a three-game winning streak.
You could just take the Cavaliers’ moneyline here with a good degree of confidence, but since there isn’t a massive difference in payout, I’ll take Cavs +2.5 for a little extra insurance.
I also like the Under 216.5. Both the Cavs and Rockets have bottom-five offenses by adjusted offensive rating, and Cleveland also plays at one of the slowest paces in the league, ranking 26th of 30.
Prediction: Cavaliers 109, Rockets 102
