WATCH: Jayson Tatum scores 31 points, 8 rebounds vs. Wizards (2/28)

The St. Louis native put in one of the season’s most clutch performances on Sunday.

While the Duke product had been in something of a slump in recent games, there was no sign of it Sunday evening as All-Star starter Jayson Tatum put in one of the best clutch performances of the 2020-21 NBA season to date to put away the Washington Wizards late.

The St. Louis native won out in a duel with childhood friend and Wizards star Bradley Beal, helping to force a late turnover to secure the win on one end while putting up 31 points and 8 boards on the other side of the court including several clutch makes to clinch the victory for the Celtics.

Tatum was instrumental in this contest in snatching victory from the jaws of defeat to give Boston its first win streak since late January.
